Venue
The state of the art hall, known as the ‘Olympic Hall’, was designed to provide four badminton courts, a full basketball court, plus practice basketball courts, cricket nets and volleyball courts, along with plenty of run-off space around them. Additional facilities include changing rooms (including showers), a private classroom as well as a reception area for students to register.

Facilities
The floor itself is a Gerflor’s Taraflex Sport M Performance floor providing high levels of comfort, performance and safety with multi-sports capability. This surface is superb for karate training.

The training venue is just a few minutes walk from the town of Wilmslow which contains many local shops as well as many bars and restaurants
Location and Parking
Olympic Hall, Wilmslow High School, Holly Road, Wilmslow, SK9 1LZ.

Upon arrival at the training venue there is large main car park for all students to use (access from the A34 only). Do not drive up to the entrance of the venue as this is a narrow road and will be dangerous for students walking to and from the venue.
How to Find the Training Venue

Registration
Everyday prior to training students will need to register for fire safety reasons (the fire assembly point is located in the main car park). You will be able to register and pay any outstanding gasshuku fees in the reception area directly outside the training hall.
Lunch (food and drinks)
There will only be short breaks between training sessions and just 45 mins for lunch. As the canteen at the training venue wont be open during our training times we highly recommend that you arrange your own food and drink prior to the start of training each day. There are a number of local shops available in the centre of Wilmslow to purchase various items which is just a short walk away.
Merchandise
On Saturday 27th April (09:30 and 13:00) and Sunday 28th April (09:30 and 14:00) our sportswear manufacturer, Kukri, will be setting up a stand where you can purchase official W.K.K.A. England and Gasshuku clothing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have the actual manufacturer on site providing you will many clothing options to chose from with various design choices created right in front of you.
